Preserving the Russian language along with the Ossetian language, appreciating the great artists of words is our common goal, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev has noted in his congratulations on the occasion of Russian Language Day.

Every year, on the birthday of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, a brilliant poet, creator of the modern Russian literary language, Russian Language Day is celebrated.

Gagloev has emphasized that this is a significant day not only for philologists and linguists; this holiday unites millions of Russian-speaking people.
