The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry commented on the OSCE PA session held in Bucharest, during which a declaration was adopted, including a call for the withdrawal of Russian armed forces from South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
“South Ossetia has repeatedly voiced its position on the destructiveness of discussing biased documents detached from reality,” the Foreign Ministry has noted.
According to the department, this is not the first time that such documents have been adopted since August 2008.
The Republic's foreign policy department once again drew attention to the need to accept "the existing geopolitical realities in the region and respect the right of South Ossetia to freedom and independence."
“Unfortunately, once again we have to state the policy of double standards on the part of European structures and the degradation of international institutions,” the department has concluded.
