The Athletes from South Ossetia represented the Republic with dignity at the BRICS Games, the President of the Republic Alan Gagloev has emphasized during the meeting with the participants of the games.
The head of state expressed gratitude to the athletes and their coaches for their professionalism and high achievements.
"Despite the fact that South Ossetia took part in the BRICS Games for the first time, the representatives of our Republic performed with dignity and declared themselves. We see that your efforts and hard work on yourself yield high results," Gagloev has noted.
The President noted the enormous contribution of the coaches to the development of promising athletes.
"You are an example for the younger generation," the President said.
The President presented gratitude to the participants of the BRICS Games for high sporting achievements and cash prizes, and honorary certificates to the athletes' coaches.
