The head of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev congratulated the veterans of the Airborne Forces on the 94th anniversary of the formation of the Airborne Forces. During the meeting with the paratroopers, he has noted that the veterans of the Airborne Forces are an example to follow for the younger generation.
"Throughout their history, paratroopers were an image of honor and dignity, courage and professionalism. Strong in character, unity and mutual assistance, you have become a worthy example of patriotism, loyalty to the military oath and duty for the younger generation," the President said.
Gagloev has also noted that today many fighters of the winged infantry celebrate their professional holiday in the special operation zone, honorably fulfilling their duty, daily demonstrating courage and heroism, confirming their motto "Nobody but us."
The veterans of the Airborne Forces expressed gratitude to the President of the country for the attention .
For loyalty to the oath and many years of service to the Fatherland, the President presented the medals "For Military Labor in the Name of Peace" to the veterans of the Airborne Forces.
Airborne Forces Day is celebrated on August 2. This is a memorial day in honor of the airborne troops in the armed forces of Russia, Belarus and other CIS countries. It was established in 1930 in the USSR.
