The Red Cross's stay in South Ossetia has been extended for a year
The International Committee of the Red Cross's stay in South Ossetia has been extended; the corresponding decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers at the meeting on Wednesday.
The issue was submitted to the government for consideration by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Akhsar Dzhioev.
"The Red Cross has been carrying out significant humanitarian work in the Republic. In this regard, it is proposed to extend the organization's stay in South Ossetia from January 1 to December 31, 2025," Dzhioev said.
