The exhibition "Ossetian Color" will be opened on August 16 in the North Caucasus branch of the State Museum of the Oriental Art in the Republic of Adygea.

The exhibition will feature the works by the Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, member of the Union of Artists of Russia and South Ossetia Vadim Pukhaev, People's Artist of Russia and Ossetia Magrez Kelekhsaev, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Murat Dzhikaev, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Taimuraz Margiev, People's Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Yuri Ktsoev, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Robert Karkusov.

As reported to IA "Res" by Vadim Pukhaev his works on a historical theme will be presented among the paintings, which were among the participants and winners of the International Exhibition-Competition of Fine Arts "Alania: Images of the Past".

"The paintings "Os-Bagatyr", "Lehel", "Sarmatian Cavalry" and the work that this year took part in the All-Russian exhibition in Moscow "Guardian Angel" will be presented," Pukhaev said.

The exhibition will also feature small sculptures by a sculptor Yuri Ktsoev, who conveys the traditions and symbols of the Ossetian culture through his works.
