The 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the centenary of public diplomacy will be widely celebrated in South Ossetia. This was reported by the head of the Russian House in Tskhinval, Sergei Komissarov.
"In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, we plan to increase the number and scale of thematic events," the head of the organization said.
Komissarov also emphasized the importance of the 100th anniversary of public diplomacy.
"Another event directly related to Rossotrudnichestvo is the 100th anniversary of public diplomacy, which is celebrated in connection with the creation of friendship societies in 1925. We plan to celebrate this event on a larger scale and in a more significant way," Komissarov has shared.
In addition to these key events, the Russian House will continue to support traditional holidays such as the Days of Slavic Literature and Culture, Flag Day, Peter and Fevronia Day, etc.
The head of the Russian House has noted that many events are expected in 2025 and called on everyone to actively participate in them.
