“At the Forum, with colleagues from the North Caucasus Customs Administration of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, we discussed problematic issues of joint work at the Lower Zaramag checkpoint,” the press service has noted.

It was added that Chochiev had also met with his colleague from Abkhazia, Otar Khetsia.

“The parties discussed the need to sign cooperation agreement in the customs sphere between the two fraternal republics,” the department has noted.

As reported earlier, Alexander Chochiev and the head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Valery Pikalev signed a Protocol on the termination of the Agreement on the procedure for appealing decisions and actions (inaction) of officials of a specialized customs authority.
