South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev took part in a video conference meeting of the Transnistrian MFA reporting board dedicated to the work of the foreign policy department in 2024. This was reported by the press service of the South Ossetian MFA.
The report was delivered by Vitaly Ignatiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, who identified three main factors of negative external influence on Transnistria: global and regional instability, an artificial crisis in the international settlement process known as the "5+2" format, unprecedented blockade and restrictive measures and large-scale pressure from Moldova, associated with massive human rights violations.
"Akhsar Dzhioev has addressed his Pridnestrovian colleagues with words of support, pointing out the serious challenges that the Republic is facing today, and confirming the unwavering desire of South Ossetia to strengthen bilateral ties," the statement of the Foreign Ministry reads.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky called the activities of the Republic's Foreign Ministry significant and recognized them as satisfactory based on the results of 2024.
