South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev has received the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Valdrak Ludwing Jentske Whitaker, who led a delegation to Tskhinval to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Republic's proclamation.
Akhsar Dzhioev has welcomed the guests, noting that South Ossetia welcomes representatives from its friendly country, Nicaragua, on this significant holiday and will always be grateful for their support during this difficult time for the Republic.
Valdrak Jentske, in turn, thanked the guests for the invitation and warm welcome and congratulated the South Ossetian people on the holiday, wishing the Republic further development and prosperity.
It was noted that the strengthening of friendly South Ossetian-Nicaraguan relations would continue.
The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Andrei Tskhovrebov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to Nicaragua Narim Kozaev, and Minister-Counselor of the Nicaraguan Embassy in the Russian Federation Claudio Arana.
