South Ossetia and the Ulyanovsk Region are strengthening cooperation

South Ossetia and the Ulyanovsk Region of the Russian Federation have reached a new level of partnership in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian areas.

A plan of action for the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the governments of South Ossetia and the Ulyanovsk Region was signed at the First International Economic Forum.

The document was signed by Soslan Gassiev, Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports of South Ossetia, and Artem Miroshnikov, Minister of Youth Development of the Ulyanovsk Region of the Russian Federation.

Soslan Gassiev emphasized the significance of the signed document.

"The action plan covers the period 2025-2026 and is aimed at intensifying cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian areas," he has noted.

Artem Miroshnikov, in turn, noted the practical nature of the agreement.

"The action plan covers ten areas of activity. The most important thing is that all agreements are implemented," Miroshnikov said.

It was also noted that the signed agreement was the important step in strengthening bilateral relations, opening up new prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation and facilitating the socioeconomic development of both South Ossetia and the Ulyanovsk Region.
