The International Economic Forum in Tskhinval has served as a platform for discussing South Ossetia's development prospects, including through strengthening partnerships with Russian development institutions.

During the panel session "Eurasian Bridge: Investments and Technologies for the Future of the Caucasus," special attention was paid to developing effective investor support tools.

The experts agreed that risk sharing, access to long-term financing, and an improved administrative climate are key factors.

The implementation of these measures, they believe, will accelerate the launch of promising projects, create new jobs, and stimulate economic growth.

Konstantin Dzhussoev, Chairman of the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia, spoke about the Republic's plans to create a favorable investment climate.

"We are currently developing a state program for socio-economic development of South Ossetia for 2026-2030. To attract investment, the Republic's legislation provides tax breaks for preferential investment projects, as well as preferential lending and subsidies.

The development of transport and logistics infrastructure is the important factor," Dzhussoev has noted.

In his speech, Abkhazia's Prime Minister Vladimir Delba emphasized the significance of signing a mutual trade agreement between Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

He has noted that this document is of key importance for the development of both republics.

"The agreement will allow us to intensify cooperation in key sectors such as tourism and agriculture, which are priorities for both South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Cooperation in these areas will provide a significant impetus to the development of our economies," Delba has stated.

The Prime Minister also noted the prospects for the development of the woodworking industry in South Ossetia and expressed interest in exporting products under the new agreement.

In conclusion, Vladimir Delba emphasized the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial ties between Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

"There are many mutual interests. I am confident that we will continue our close cooperation and achieve the best results," he said.
