Media representatives from South Ossetia and the CIS will participate in the prestigious international seminar for heads and journalists of news agencies and media outlets from the CIS countries.
The event, organized by Russia's leading news agency TASS, will be holding in Moscow from October 13 to 19.
As part of the comprehensive program, the participants, including Maria Meleshikhina, a journalist of the South Ossetian news agency "Res," will gain an insight into the work of one of the largest media outlets – TASS.
Master classes by experienced TASS journalists and leading Russian experts are also planned.
The key topics covered at the seminar will be current trends in the media world.
The participants will delve into media convergence, master artificial intelligence in journalism, and learn how to apply neural networks in practice.
Attention will be paid to fact-checking and new technologies for its implementation.
Workshops will also cover mobile journalism, including practical aspects of photo, audio, and video recording using smart phones.
An equally important topic will be the study of trends in the development of the modern Russian language in the media.
In addition to the intensive professional training, the participants will be introduced to the rich history and culture of the Russian capital.
