Acting Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev and the head of the official representative of Transnistria in the Republic, Alan Pliev, participated in a meeting of the Transnistrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' reporting board dedicated to the results of 2025.

The event was held via video conference, according to the press service of the RSO Foreign Ministry.

"Akhsar congratulated his Transnistrian colleagues on their professional holiday and confirmed South Ossetia's unwavering commitment to further developing bilateral cooperation," the press service has noted.

Delivering his final report, the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev has noted that the past year has been a period of working under increasing pressure and systemic threats for the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. He has also noted that the negotiation process has been artificially blocked for seven years, resulting in the failure of the internationally recognized "5+2" format.

Strengthening the strategic partnership with the Russian Federation was identified as the fundamental foreign policy priority for the republic.

The event was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the leadership of the Supreme Council and government, the heads of ministries and departments, the Abkhaz Foreign Minister Oleg Bartsits, the Russian Federation's co-Chair of the Joint Control Commission, and other participants.
