The business of China and South Ossetia has a future, Sabrina Wu Yinghui, Vice President of one of the largest Chinese investment corporations, told reporters.

“This is our first time in South Ossetia. Yesterday we got acquainted with the Republic, with its inhabitants, and saw the sights. I wish us fruitful cooperation and friendship between China and South Ossetia,” the representative of the Chinese corporation has noted.

On Friday, the government of South Ossetia concluded a number of agreements following the meeting with the Russian investors on socio-economic cooperation.

The investment agreement was concluded between the government of the Republic and the Stroyprogress group of companies.

The agreement was signed by Prime Minister of South Ossetia, Konstantin Dzhussoev, and General Director of Stroyprogress, Yuri Morozov.

The government has also signed the investment agreement with Rosneftegaz Joint Stock Company.

Representatives of the Stroyprogress group of companies came to South Ossetia to sign an agreement on geological exploration of oil fields and consider the possibility of creating the Republic’s own energy complex, president of the group of companies, Albert Dzhussoev, said during the meeting with the head of state, Alan Gagloev.

President Alan Gagloev presented the Hero of Russia Yuri Abaev with the highest state award of South Ossetia - the Order of Uatsamonga. Abaev arrived in Tskhinval on Thursday as part of their delegation of Russian investors.

The President also presented him with a premium weapon.

“Yuri Abaev glorified throughout the world not only his name, but also the entire Ossetia,” the leader of the Republic of South Ossetia has emphasized.

Gagloev has also awarded the Order of Honor to former chairman of the government of the Republic of South Ossetia, Yuri Morozov.

South Ossetia has enormous potential in energy, industry, and tourism, Albert Dzhussoev, president of the Stroyprogress group of companies, noted during the meeting with the South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev.

“The potential for truism in South Ossetia is crazy. One begins to understand this, having not been in homeland for a long time. There is extraordinary beauty here. Tourism will bring enormous income to the budget,” he has noted.
