Issues of the missing since August 2008 will be discussed at the meeting in Ergneti

September 6, a trilateral meeting of members of the Coordination Mechanism on addressing the issues of the missing persons after the August 2008, will be held in the Georgian village of Ergneti, which is bordering on South Ossetia.
As the news agency "Res" has been informed by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement Hokh Gagloyty, the meeting will be held under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC); in Ergneti will meet representatives of South Ossetia, Russia and Georgia.

From August 31 to September 3 the official delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia, led by the Chairman of the Parliament of South Ossetia Stanislav Kochiev, was on a visit in the Moldavian Republic of Transdniestria, which was celebrating the 22 anniversary of proclamation of the independence. The delegation has also included Deputy Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Kazbulat Tskhovrebov and Head of the Translation Department of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia Tadtaev.

Athlete from South Ossetia will perform in the Russian Thai boxing championship

A native of South Ossetia Akhsar Tadtaev will take part in the Thai boxing championship of Russia among athletes born in 1997-1998.
As IA "Res" has been reported by a coach of the athlete Gennady Martirosov, "the competition will be held in Anapa, September, 7 – 12, 2012. Tadtaev will perform in the weight class up to 60 kg. He is a very capable and hard-working athlete. Our athlete has been training hard for the tournament and we look forward to his successful performance, "- said Martirosov.

Almost forgotten Georgia has decided to perform again on the world arena by "special operation" against the "North Caucasian militants", allegedly carried out near the border with Russia. Official announcements of the Georgian authorities have raised a few questions. First, if the militants penetrated into the territory of Georgia from Russia, fleeing from persecution of the government forces, then could it be that these places had not been familiar to them? Second, if these places were familiar to the militants, doesn’t it mean that they had already been there? Third, if they have already been there, is it possible, that the Georgian security agencies didn`t know of this fact? Fourth, if the gunmen have already been there, they could not help knowing that the Georgian security agencies had been informed of this, then what sense was to take the hostages? Fifth: If they took hostages, what sense was to exchange the helpless hostages for the professionally trained fighters of the Georgian power structures?

Young people in South Ossetia took part in the forum "Volga-2012"

Students of the South Ossetian State University attended a regional youth educational forum "Volga-2012".
As IA "Res" has been informed by one of the participants of the forum Zaribeg Gogichaev, South Ossetia received the invitation from the youth organization "New People."
"Within the framework of the forum were held educational events, workshops, seminars and lectures to educate young people who are interested in socio-political and economic life. In particular, our group has been involved in the program ''Echo'', "- said Gogichaev.
