Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev during his official visit to Nauru held a number of meetings with representatives of foreign delegations, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia.

January 31, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev took part in the solemn events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Nauru.
As reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia, "the official program of celebrations began with a ceremony of raising the national flag, to the strains of the National Anthem of the Republic of Nauru, in the performance of the church choir on the square in front of the government house".
