Cooperation between "United Ossetia" and the BAATH Party is an important moment in building up the Syrian-South Ossetian relations, said President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov at a press conference in Tskhinval, dedicated to the results of his first official visit to the Syrian Arab Republic.
According to him, the signing of a cooperation agreement with the pro-presidential party in Syria has become a very serious step and a weighty application for "United Ossetia" as the leading political force of the Republic.

The heads of Russia and South Ossetia held a telephone conversation, discussing topical issues related to cooperation between the two countries.
As reported by the Kremlin press service, during the conversation, the leaders of Russia and South Ossetia also touched on the upcoming celebration of the 10th anniversary of recognition of the Republic's independence by the Russian Federation.

The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of South Ossetia and Syria will sign a cooperationagreement, said President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov at a briefing in Tskhinval.
"Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the organization through which the businessmen of the two countries will know the proposals and opportunities, and make certain steps for business development in South Ossetia and Syria," Bibilov said.
The head of state has noted that it is planned the arrival of businessmen of the Syrian Arab Republic in South Ossetia.

South Ossetia with the assistance of Syria will take certain steps to establish contacts with other states of the Middle East region, said President Anatoly Bibilov at a briefing in Tskhinval.
According to the head of state, South Ossetia has received assurances from the Syrian Arab Republic that actions will be taken from Damascus aimed at promoting the interests of Tskhinval in other countries of the region with which Syria maintains friendly relations.
Bibilov has added that we are talking about cooperation in both the political and economic spheres.
