The Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia took part in the farewell ceremony with the ex-mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov, the press service of the Embassy said.

A wreath was laid on behalf of the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov.

Earlier, Anatoly Bibilov sent a telegram of condolences to the current mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, relatives and friends of Yuri Luzhkov in connection with his death.

South Ossetia has stated the need for delimitation of the state border with Georgia

Representatives of South Ossetia at the Geneva discussions reiterated the justification for the need to work together with representatives of the Georgian authorities on the delimitation of the South Ossetian-Georgian state border, as this could remove a wide range of problems for the population on both sides of the border, the South Ossetian delegation said in a final message to the media on Thursday.

Economic cooperation issues were discussed at the meeting of Eric Pukhaev and Anton Melnik

Issues of socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia were discussed during a meeting between the head of the Cabinet of South Ossetia Eric Pukhaev and the delegation of the Russian Ministry for North Caucasus Affairs, headed by director of the Department of International Cooperation Anton Melnik, who arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.

According to the press service of the government, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development Gennady Bekoev and head of the government Office Oleg Gagloev.
