The South Ossetian party in the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM) has reported on the violation of the airspace of the Republic by an unknown unmanned aerial vehicle that flew into South Ossetia from Georgia, told reporters Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy for post-conflict settlement Yegor Kochiev after the IPRM meeting in in the village of Ergneti..

“The drone violated the airspace of the Republic three times in the region of the Seribalta settlement, where is stationed the border guard of South Ossetia,” Kochiev said.

The South Ossetian party in the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM) condemned the violation of the state border of the Republic with Georgia by Georgian policemen. As Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the of the RSO for post-conflict settlement, Yegor Kochiev, told reporters after the IPRM meeting, since the previous meeting had been recorded two cases of violation of the state border by Georgian policemen.

On May 20, South Ossetia will host commemorative events to mark the 27th anniversary of the 1992 ZAR tragedy. As noted by Minister of Culture of the Republic Zhanna Zasseeva during the meeting with representatives of state organizations, May 20 is the day of memory and sorrow in the Republic.
