In Tskhinval, will be held a photo exhibition “Stop, the moment, you are dear!”, dedicated to the Day of recognition of the independence of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation. This was reported to the Res news agency by the director of the Republican Center for Folk Arts Elizaveta Guchmazova.

According to her, the exhibition will be held on August 26 in the village of Khetagurovo.

The second stream of the ethnic camp "Alanian Trail", which first was held in the southern part of Alanya, has been completed. Its participants are young people, ethnic Ossetians from eight countries: Turkey, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Germany, France, Kazakhstan, Syria and the Netherlands. According to the Committee on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, which conducted the ethnic camp in South Ossetia, the program was rich.

August 2008 was extremely rich in military and political events. It became a turning point in the further state structure of Transcaucasia.

The practice of international relations allowed two new independent recognized states to appear on the world map - South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The leadership of Russia, in making its decision to recognize their independence, was guided by the will of the peoples, as well as by generally accepted norms of international and humanitarian law.
