Tskhinval paid last tributes to Rudolf Tskhovrebov, perished during the special military operation in Ukraine.

According to the press service of the head of state, the leadership of the Republic, headed by President Alan Gagloev, representatives of law enforcement agencies, colleagues and friends of the deceased came to see off the fighter on his last journey.

By the decree of the head of state, Rudolf Tskhovrebov was posthumously awarded the Medal “Defender of the Fatherland.”

Russia is the guarantor of peace and security for South Ossetia, with the recognition of which peace has been established in the Republic, the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev noted at the meeting with Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

According to Dzagoeva, the Days of Culture of Crimea in South Ossetia, at the request of the Crimean colleagues will be held in 2025.

The State Drama Theater of South Ossetia will perform at the All-Russian Festival of National Theaters “Federation” in the Chechen Republic. Minister of Culture of the Republic, Rada Dzagoeva, announced this at the press conference on Friday.

“Last year was quite successful for us. We actively cooperate with the Russian Ministry of Culture; good communication is established with some Russian regions. We received the invitation to the All-Russian festival of national theaters “Federation”, which will be held in Chechnya,” the Minister said.

The capital of South Ossetia will host the evening of remembrance “10 years of ongoing tragedy”, timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the start of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbass by Ukraine.
