President of South Ossetia called on the citizens to take full responsibility for the measures introduced in the Republic, in connection with the threat of the spread of coronavirus.

According to Bibilov, it is wrong to perceive this disease lightly and irresponsibly.

“We must understand the threat posed by the coronavirus and treat the restrictive measures introduced in South Ossetia, especially regarding the entry into the Republic, with understanding. The actions taken by the authorities are absolutely correct and necessary,” the President said.

A meeting of the operational headquarters on countering the spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic is underway in Tskhinval, chaired by President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov.

During the meeting was discussed the current epidemiological situation in the world and neighboring regions.
