Servicemen of the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia are carrying out active preparatory measures for a command-staff exercise in Abkhazia.

The idea of ​​the exercise provides for its holding in three stages, while the South Ossetian military personnel will be involved in the most important of them, during which combat training tasks will be worked out to perform various tactical tasks for conducting territorial defense with live fire, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported.

A command-staff mobilization exercise is being held in Abkhazia, in which servicemen of the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia are taking part, the press service of the defense department reported.

An agreement on the participation of the RSO servicemen in the exercise was reached between the Commanders-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the states, Anatoly Bibilov and Aslan Bzhania.
