In the village of Ksuis, Tskhinval district of South Ossetia, residents have found explosive objects, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia reported.
The Ministry has explained that the dangerous finds turned out to be TM-57 training mines and F-1 grenades - two units each.
“The finds were without fuses. Next to the grenade and the mine were cartridges of 5.45 and 7.62 calibers. The officers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the KGB of the Republic immediately went to the place where the cache was found,” the press service said.
As added in the department, employees of law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Emergency Situations cordoned off the place of discovery, carried out all the necessary measures to seize explosives. After that, all of them were taken to a special place for subsequent destruction.
