The Bendery tragedy united the people of Transnistria even more strongly in a decisive struggle for freedom and independence, protection of their future, their history, culture and language. This is stated in the note of condolences of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia to the foreign policy department of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in connection with the 32nd anniversary of the Bendery tragedy.
The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry has noted that June 19, 1992 is one of the most terrible dates in the history of Transnistria.
