President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev signed a decree on awarding the Order of Friendship to Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova, the press service of the head of state reports.
The Minister was awarded for her contribution to the development of cooperation between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation in the field of culture.
On behalf of the head of state the order was presented to Lyubimova on Friday by Minister of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia Rada Dzagoeva during a meeting with her Russian counterpart in the Marble Palace of St. Petersburg.
The delegation from South Ossetia is actively participating in the work of the 10th International Forum of United Cultures.
For the third day, official meetings, lectures, master classes, thematic sections have been held in St. Petersburg.
Representatives of 44 countries are taking part in the work of the Forum.
