The State Duma of the Russian Federation at еру plenary session ratified the agreement between itself and South Ossetia on the development of military-technical cooperation, TASS reports.

The agreement was signed in Tskhinval on August 23, 2023. On September 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted it to the State Duma for ratification.

According to the explanatory note, the agreement is aimed at deepening cooperation in the military-technical sphere.

In October, 23 violators of the established legal regimes were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia.
