Earlier the Ministry of Interior of Georgia announced that all the people that crowded at the check point Upper Lars will be allowed to enter Georgia till 14 July through South Ossetia. After 14 July those that are going to Georgia will not to take the same root.
The correspondent of the informational agency “Res” approached Boris Chochiev, First Deputy Prime Minister, JCC Co-Chairman for the South Ossetian side. According to him, the Georgian side deblocked the TransCaucasian Highway for residents of the Republic of South Ossetia. Currently the road through the Georgian enclave and the roads to Georgia proper are open and people can freely move. Further Boris Chochiev expressed his hopes that those measures are not having temporary character and after 14 July the Ossetian population will be able to use these roads without any problems.
