«On August, 11th by the military observers of JPKF had been held the next monitoring in the area of the settlements Grom and Tsolda, as a result of which it was possible to gather the earlier unknown data. So, for example, the peacemakers have ascertained the exact direction, in which the unknown plane has disappeared. There is also helpful information», so the assistant of the commander of JPKF Juriy Vereshchak has commented on the course of investigation of the incident, connected with the start-up of an aviation rocket in the area of the georgian village Tsitelubani.
As it is known, last week the Russian and the Georgian managements have officially declared of their intention to carry out a careful investigation of the given incident.
Touching the absence of official information on the results of investigation, Juriy Vereshchak has noted;
«In order that the experts could carry out an objective investigation, it is necessary to gather as much as possible additional data that would allow recreating the full picture of the event occurred on August, 6th. The peacemakers, alongside with the other problems, are engaged with it now.
The only thing that complicates our work is the refusal of the georgian military observers to take part in the hold monitorings. Unfortunately, for the time being the georgian party has not given convincing explanations of its keeping aloof from investigation of the given incident».
