«Georgian side quite predictably and purposefully tightens the situation»-stated to IA «Res» correspondent the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity commenting a negative reaction of Georgian government at the RF President Vladimir Putin instruction of more objective backing of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
«We cannot fail to note that Georgia for the entire period of mutual relations is aiming at annexation of South Ossetian territory, beginning from the Middle Ages till present days. At all these they used various methods including armed invasions and different political ploys. Fortunately, they never succeed in doing this for the just is on our side and we are struggling for our future. The same one can say of Georgian reaction on Vladimir Putin’s decision of more objective backing of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Absolutely constructive proposals directed at the improving of living conditions of our republic’s population for some reason are called an annexation of Georgian territory. Neither Abkhazia nor South Ossetia have never been part of Georgia, consequently the matter of annexation is out of the question. On the contrary, Georgia once again violates domestic affairs of neighboring States. And of course this circumstance roses a distrust to such an unpredictable and aggressive neighbor»-said Eduard Kokoity.
