The Georgian side is going on concentrating artillery detachments, which has recently conducted exercises at the «Orfolo» fire-range, at the borders of the Republic of South Ossetia. This information was given to IA «Res» correspondent at RSO Security Council press-service. «We have information that Georgian armed forces were ordered on 15 hour fighting trim. Simultaneously Georgian infantry brigades and military units are brought to alertness. It is expected that in near future the Georgian National Guards reservists will also be involved. This decision was taken at the extraordinary sitting of Georgia’s Security Council on 16 April in response to the RF President Vladimir Putin instructions of supporting of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The same situation is developed at the Abkhazian border. It is clear Georgia is getting ready to force actions and that puts South Caucasian region in very dangerous situation»-said in the press-service.
