In Five Days Two Persons Had Illegally Crossed the State Borderline of South Ossetia with Georgia

On October 4, 2010, around 7:30 AM a detachment of the RF FSB Border Guard Department in South Ossetia detained a man with no identity documents near the village of Artsev, Tskhinval district of South Ossetia, at a distance of 350 meters from the border between South Ossetia and Georgia, reported the Press Service of the Border Guard Department.
It was noted that according to the detainee, he was a citizen of Georgia.

"The detainee stated that he was heading to the village Artsev (South Ossetia). Currently, this violation of the state border is under investigation ", the spokesman said.
He added that the detainee would be handed over to border guards of KGB of South Ossetia in the near future.
Earlier, on September 30, 2010, at about 18:30 the border guards of the RF FSB in South Ossetia detained a Georgian citizen in the village of Orchosan, Leningor district of the Republic, at a distance of 50 meters from the border of South Ossetia with Georgia.
During the primary investigation, the detainee said that he the purpose of the illegal crossing of the border was family or domestic related one.
The detainee was transferred to the Border Guard Service of the KGB of South Ossetia for further proceedings.
