On 18 May, near the village Lopan in Znaurskiy region a group of the Georgian citizens, residing at the territory of South Ossetia illegally, were detained by the border guards of the Border service of the KGB of South Ossetia in the course of the actions on guarding the boundary. It has been reported IA "Res" by the press-service of the KGB of the RSO.
"At the moment of detention, the border-guards have undergone the rifle firing on the part of the unknown persons, who have been dispersed by the return fire of the border-guards and managed to escape to the territory of Georgia. ", - has informed the KGB. According to the information of the press-service, four violators have been detained -one of them – being under age "At present the investigation actions are being conducted. In the nearest future the under-aged detainee will be brought to the representatives of the law-enforcement bodies of Georgia in accordance with the established order", - has been noted there.
