Today the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has registered the Chairman of the State Committee for Information and Mass Communications of the RSO Georgy Kabisov and the deputy of the Parliament of the RSO (Communist Party) Merab Chigoev as the presidential candidates. As informed by the Central Election Committee of the RSO to IA RES, today the Central Election Committee has refused registration of the businessman Akhsar Vaneev and the General Director of the public corporation «Stroyprogress" Albert Dzhussoev. According to the Central Election Committee, «the decision on refusing registration of these persons has been made because they did not live the last ten years in the territory of the Republic». It should be reminded, that 28 initiative groups and two parties have addressed to the Central Election Committee of the RSO. For today, 13 candidates for the Presidency have already been announced. The six initiative groups` nominees are refused registration. The question on registration of 11 more nominees is still at the consideration stage.
