South Ossetian fighters Atsamaz Dzigoev and Radion Kumaritov have become the winners of the public and state athletics and sports association championship "Youth of Russia", held in Karachaevo-Cherkessia among athletes born 1994-1995.

"The competition was held among the athletes of two age groups of boys - 1995 - 1996 years of birth and among youth 19 - 22 years old. Dzigoev performed in the weight class up to 60 kg in the second age group. Having gained a victory in the preliminary bouts on points, he met in the final with a team representative of the Stavropol Territory, whom our boxer has also scored over, "- said Kokoev.
According to the trainer, another ward of him - Radion Kumaritov – performing among athletes born in 1995 - 1996 - became a winner of the tournament in the weight class to 81 kg.
"The winners of the junior age-group tournament are Azamat Pliev and Ruslan Kumaritov. Pliev won a silver medal in the heavyweight class and Kumaritov finished third in the weight class up to 69 kg - added the coach. It should be noted that the wards of Kokoev - Azamat Pliev, Radion Kumaritov and Ruslan Kumaritov are members of a team of North Ossetia and Atsamaz Dzigoev is the St. Petersburg team-member.
