Co-Chairs of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia have visited today Leningor district of South Ossetia. As the RSO Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev told IA "Res", Philippe Lefort (EU), Antti Turunen (UN) and Podrig Murphy (OSCE) had visited social facilities in the district, talked to local people.
"The co-chairs also met with the leadership of the district. Theyhave received evidence that all the residents have equal living conditions ", - said Dzhioev.
According to him, representatives of the South Ossetian authorities accompanied the co-chairs;they focused attention of the visitors on the ongoing gas blockade, which Georgia had declared in this area five years ago.
"The residents of the district have spent the fifth winter without gas supply, the delivery of which the Georgian authorities stopped only for political reasons," - said Dzhioev.
The Envoy added that tomorrow, November 20, the co-chairs would again arrive in South Ossetia, where they would meet in Tskhinval with members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva talks.
"We will discuss the agenda of the 22 rounds of discussions, which will be held on December 11-12," - said Dzhioev.
