Boxers from South Ossetia Georgy Kabisov, Dmitry Bagaev and Yan Yaralov won the Golden Gloves International Tournament by winning gold medals, the Committee on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism of the Republic reports.
The International Boxing Tournament dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the Donetsk Golden Gloves boxing sports club has ended in the Donetsk People’s Republic..
The competition was attended by five South Ossetian boxers - Dmitry Bagaev, Andrey Kasaev, Georgy Kabisov and Alexei Kochiev from the Youth Boxing School, and one more athlete of the coach Hamlet Gabaraev - Yan Yaralov, who represented the sports palace "Olympus ". In total, South Ossetian boxers won five medals - three gold and two bronzes.
Boxers born in 2006-2007 and 2004-2005 from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Abkhazia, the DPR, Lugansk People's Republic and the regions of Russia took part in the international tournament.
