The actions of the Georgian authorities near the South Ossetian borders have led to another round of tension, said speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Alan Tadtaev, commenting on the request of the news Agency "RES" provocative actions by Georgia in the immediate vicinity of the Republic's borders.

"Creating hotbeds of tension around South Ossetia is Georgia’s long-standing state policy. They can’t calm down and move away from their revanchist plans towards our people. This is evidenced by the presence of new illegal posts in the immediate vicinity of our territory,". the Speaker said.

As noted by Tadtaev , the actions of Georgia shoes " the reluctance to abandon its aggressive policy towards South Ossetia."

"If we compare the actions of Georgia with its behavior on the eve of all the armed aggressions against South Ossetia, we can assume for what purpose Georgia is heating up the situation again. Our people have not forgotten the genocide of the Ossetian people in 1920, the armed aggressions unleashed by Georgia from 1989 to 1992, intervention of 2004 years and a full-scale 2008war. The world community must finally give a legal assessment of Georgia’s actions against our people, the Ossetian genocide, because impunity breeds permissiveness, and Georgia will want to repeat the genocide again, "Tadtaev said.

According to the Speaker, if any encroachments on the territory of South Ossetia by Georgia are observed, then South Ossetia may well protect its borders.

"Of course, the South Ossetian side has some concern over illegal Georgian posts near our borders, but South Ossetia today is already an independent state that will protect its borders," the Speaker said.

Tadtaev has noted that the South Ossetian Parliament will appeal to the international community to give a legal assessment of the actions of Georgia.

The situation on the border of South Ossetia was aggravated by the illegal construction by Georgia at the end

The South Ossetian side, as part of the meeting in the format of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (MPRI), then demanded that the Georgian representatives remove the checkpoint after being refused, and then left the meeting. Several technical meetings in the IPRM format did not lead to a compromise on this issue.

The authorities of South Ossetia have taken a number of measures to ensure security at the border section in the area of the village of Uista. The Prosecutor General’s Office, in turn, opened a criminal case on the fact of illegal crossing of the state border by Georgian armed forces.

Official Tbilisi did not stop there and continued a series of provocative actions. The KGB of South Ossetia is closely monitoring the situation and has repeatedly made statements on this subject.
