212 people are quarantined in South Ossetia; no new cases of coronavirus have been recorded

65 people have been tested for coronavirus over in a day by the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, all the results are negative, Deputy Head of the department Anna Gagloeva told IA "Res” on Tuesday.

212 people are under observation in quarantine. 25 people arrived in quarantine the day before through the Foreign Ministry.

"In the medical institutions of the Republic, as of Tuesday morning, there are 135 people, in the RMMC - 33, in the infectious diseases department - 35, while there are no patients with a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, in the Dzau hospital - 41, in the Znaur hospital - 22 people who arrived on Monday evening, in the old building of the maternity hospital - 5 doctors from the "red zone", - said Gagloeva.

In addition, at the Alan hotel - 60 (a day earlier - 57 people), 15 builders are quarantined in a in the special premises, and two ICC employees are quarantined at the department's location.

4609 people have been tested for coronavirus in the Republic since May of this year..

In total, 89 people infected with coronavirus have been detected and recovered since May; all of them were in quarantine in the medical institutions.

Until August 31, restrictions on crossing the border with Russia have been extended, while since August 1, some easing of restrictions have been introduced for a certain category of citizens of the RSO. This category of citizens (who have had coronavirus and who have antibodies) will be in their homes, but according to the receipt given by them, under the supervision of doctors.
