A bilateral agreement on cooperation and interaction between the Public Chambers of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Donetsk People's Republic was signed by the heads of the chambers Sergey Kudziev and Alexander Kofman.
"The agreement is aimed at establishing close interaction, open cooperation between the DPR and RSO Public Chambers, development of relations based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and mutual consideration of each other's interests, exchange of work experience and promotion of mutual business contacts on the implementation of tasks facing the Public Chambers, expansion cultural ties between residents of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Republic of South Ossetia, contacts between the non-profit organizations, "the document says.
The ceremony of signing the agreement took place the day before in Tskhinval, where a delegation of science fiction writers from the DPR, arrived in the Republic at the beginning of the week, was present. During the meeting, Chairman of the Public Chamber Sergei Kudziev was awarded an international jubilee medal "65 years of the International Union of Writers" for socially significant social activities, strengthening humanism and mutual understanding between nations.
In addition, the delegation of the Donetsk People's Republic met with volunteers from South Ossetia who had been defending the population of Donetsk. The writers also visited the Znaur District of the Republic.
Alexander Kofman has expressed his gratitude to the volunteers who took part in the defense of Donetsk.
“You are always welcome in Donetsk. Dombass is always open for you. Thank you so much and a deep bow,” said the head of the delegation, Kofman. He has stressed that everyone who took part in the defense of Donbass showed themselves to be courageous and noble people.
“There were many f volunteers from Russia and everyone had different goals, but I don’t know a single Ossetian who would get himself dirty,” said Kofman.
The delegation of the DPR, which includes writers, public figures, arrived in Tskhinval as part of the international science fiction festival "Stars over the Donbass". South Ossetian writers are also invited to participate in the festival, which annually attracts representatives from all over Russia and abroad.
Alexander Kofman has noted that for two years in a row, after the festival of fantasy in Donetsk, the collection “Live, Donbass!” Has been published. “Now we plan to publish the collection “Live, Ossetia! Each of the writers will write their own story,” said Kofman.
