The South Ossetian team formed from servicemen of the special purpose battalion of the Defense Ministry of the Republic, taking part in the competition "Excellence in Military Intelligence" of the International Army Games - 2021, arrived in Novosibirsk.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, the Russian side received the South Ossetian delegation in accordance with national traditions. State anthems of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation were sounded, and a loaf was presented to the head of the delegation.
The South Ossetian team is located on the basis of the educational complex of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School, it will be familiarized in detail with the conditions of the competition, a preliminary meeting with all participating teams will be held. From the next week, the fighters will start preparing for the competition.
The international stage of the competition "Excellence in Military Intelligence" will be held from August 22 to September 4 on the basis of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School. Servicemen from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and India will also take part in the competition.
For 10 days, military scouts will be demonstrating knowledge and skills in the following disciplines: "Landing and making a forced march", "Competition of driver mechanics", "Scout trail", "Shooting" and "Exit of a reconnaissance group to the assembly area after completing tasks ".
