On Friday, President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov took part in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The head of state voted at the polling station opened at the Russian Embassy in Tskhinval.
“I voted for a strong Russia and a strong president of the Russian Federation. I believe that every citizen of the Russian Federation living in South Ossetia is obliged to take part in the elections out of deep respect for the people of Russia, and the political processes that are taking place in Russia, and of course as a sign gratitude to the leadership of Russia for the assistance provided to us, "Bibilov said.
Bibilov has stressed that, following the election results, the distribution of political forces in the State Duma of the Russian Federation is absolutely proportional to the fate of South Ossetia.
“The political processes that are taking place in the Russian Federation will one way or another affect our life. We have observed the rhetoric of debates, including representatives of different parties, and some even in their statements made expressions that sow hostility in the North Caucasus. This cannot but alarm us, " Bibilov said..
President of the Republic noted the importance of each vote.
"Fulfillment of civil responsibility is the duty of every citizen," Bibilov added.
You can take part in voting for deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on September 17, 18 and 19 at the polling stations both in Tskhinval and in the districts of the Republic.
