Of the 410 tests for coronavirus infection carried out on the last working day before the weekend in the PCR laboratory of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, 109 showed a positive result, the head of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva told the "Res" news agency on Wednesday.
"220 tests conducted on September 20, showed 59 positive results," she said.
The number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic has grown to 5,641 people, 4,788 have recovered. According to her, 853 people are currently under the supervision of doctors, 71 people have been removed from the medical register during these days.
In total, during the pandemic in South Ossetia, the PCR laboratory conducted 36,066 tests for coronavirus infection.
