Another explosive find was found in the western part of the capital of South Ossetia, said Garik Kharebov, head of the explosive ordnance department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of South Ossetia.
He has clarified that the Ministry of Emergency Situations received the information about the discovery of a shell at the end of Nartovskaya Street. “We have arrived at the place where the explosive object was found, checked the area for another dangerous object, and then carefully proceeded to remove the projectile. The find turned out to be not a training, but a combat unit – a 125 mm BM 22 sub-caliber projectile," Kharebov said.
The has sapper explained that the live projectile was promptly taken to a special site for further destruction.
