Georgian citizen detained in South Ossetia was expelled from the Republic

The State Security Committee of South Ossetia reported that a Georgian citizen detained on December 1 in the locality of Vanel Dzau district by the officers of the stationary traffic police post was expelled from the Republic.

"It has been established that the offender Dzhanelidze Malkhaz Olegovich, born in 1974, a resident of Telavi, deliberately crossed the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia with Georgia in the vicinity of the settlement of Ergnet," the KGB press service clarified.

On Friday, Dzhanelidze was expelled from the country in accordance with Article 14 of the RSO Law “On the State Border”.
