For 13 years, funds have been sent to South Ossetia to solve socio- economic issues. Thus, one of the key tasks has been completed - the salaries of public sector employees have been increased. Over the past 6 years, the incomes of teachers, doctors, civil servants in the country have doubled.

A lot of work has been done in terms of restoring social and engineering infrastructure facilities. Thanks to the Investment Program, 300 km of roads, 18 kindergartens and schools have been built since 2012. A modern medical cluster has been opened in Tskhinval, which includes a children's hospital, an operating and surgical complex and a new maternity hospital. In addition, one of the landmark events of 2021 is the opening of a backup line to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the Republic.

“The work on the socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia continues. At the same time, the tasks become more difficult. Now that we have already achieved results in the social sphere, it is necessary to strengthen the economic agenda. It is important to create conditions for attracting investments so that businesses open up and the number of jobs grows,” said Maxim Reshetnikov.

These are the goals laid down in the State Program for Socio-Economic Development for 2022-2025 adopted by the Parliament of South Ossetia.
