Acting Defense Minister of South Ossetia, officers of the military administration, personnel of the units paid tribute to the memory of the fallen servicemen of the national army - the defenders of the Republic, the press service of the defense department has reported.
A flower-laying ceremony was held at the memorial to the heroes of South Ossetia Amiran Bagaev and Azamat Dzhioev. The servicemen died heroically in an unequal battle with the units of the Georgian army that entered Tskhinval from the east.
A flower-laying ceremony was also held at the Memorial Complex on the territory of the Military Camp of the Defense Ministry. Here are immortalized the names of all the perished employees of the department - participants in the hostilities to repel Georgian aggression from 2003 to 2008.
