President Alan Gagloev has held a meeting with the Minister for Nationalities and Public Projects of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Anzor Kurashinov, who arrived in Tskhinval to take part in the celebrations in honor of the 14th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation.
According to the presidential press service, the meeting was also attended by the Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov.
Thanking the guest for the visit, the head of state noted the warm relations and long-term friendship between the peoples of South Ossetia and Kabardino-Balkaria, as well as the achievements of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in agriculture and social orientation.
“We are closely monitoring these moments, studying them. Your experience can serve as an example for the development of our country,” said Alan Gagloev.
For his part, Anzor Kurashinov thanked the President for the reception and conveyed his best wishes to the people of the Republic of South Ossetia on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Kokov.
“I am very proud and glad that I had the honor to be in South Ossetia on such a significant day. I wish peace and prosperity to your beautiful republic,” he said.
