Participants in the hostilities from Luhansk, Donetsk and Abkhazia arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the celebrations dedicated to the next anniversary of the formation of the Republic.
As Madina Plieva, the head of the Fund for the wounded who became disabled during the hostilities in South Ossetia from 1989-2008, told IA “Res”, about 15 guys arrived in the Republic and will take part in all the festive events.
“We sent invitations to Abkhazia, the LPR and the DPR. The guys responded to them and came to share our joy with us. Everyone knows how difficult the situation is in the Donbass republics. Despite this, they are taking part in our celebrations. Their visit to South Ossetia took place with the support of President of the Republic Alan Gagloev. And we are very grateful to him for his understanding and attention to our issues,” she said.
According to Plieva, today the guys are taking part in the celebration of the Day of the State Flag, and tomorrow they will march along the central square of Tskhinval with the tricolors of their republics.
The guys who are part of the delegations were seriously injured during the hostilities and became disabled. For the first time they will take part in the procession on the territory of South Ossetia with the flags of their republics.
